Happy Chinese New Year! A Cute post by the Oddbods. Wish I could be with our California family to celebrate. Hubby and I flew down one year to visit and we were treated to Chinese "hot pot" at a restaurant in LA's famous China Town. Glad my daughter-in-law is fluent in Chinese. She placed the order and we ate like royalty. If you ever get a chance, don't miss it! It's a noisy treat (just like this video) and lots of fun for families.

These Oddbods are a little weird:) The year of the monkey? Does that mean anyone born this year will end up taking your food or cameras and then climb up a tree? I am the year of the dragon. My hubby is the year of the co...rooster.
ReplyDeleteOh golly, I haven't a clue. Just checked and yep, it's the monkey. I think I'm the year of the ox. But I do remember my son is the tiger, which was his nickname as a boy...and long before I knew of this Chinese custom.
DeleteI'm a rabbit.
ReplyDeleteHop hop, hop when the time comes. It's fun to know :)
DeleteMost interesting, Loved the post.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
Glad you enjoyed this "noisy" post :)
DeleteFun video! Had no idea it was Chinese New Year. Hope you have a fantastic day, even though you can't be with your California family for any celebrating!
ReplyDeleteI laughed when I saw it. My little grandsons are as wild and crazy as these Oddbods.
DeleteThat would be a yummy way to celebrate, with great food!
ReplyDeleteOh yes indeed. The "hot pot" is something to crave...so good and healthy too!
DeleteSounds like tons of fun! Even better when there is someone who can do the ordering. :)
